Explicação:

- Na terceira pessoa (he/she/it), o verbo sempre termina em S, como: he wants, she knows e he lives.

Mas também existem as exceções:

- Verbos terminados em Y na terceira pessoa (he/she/it) troca o Y por -Ies. Ex.: I cry - he cries.

(Há uma exceção, quando antes do Y existe uma vogal. I play - He play. Nesse caso não muda).

- Adicione -ES aos verbos terminados em -ss, -x, -sh, -ch. Como: She fixes.
