Passado Contínuo

O passado simples nada mais é do que um tempo verbal dentro da língua inglesa que fala sobre uma ação que começou no passado e finalizou nesse mesmo passado, não precisando necessariamente ter relação com o presente da fala proferida. Já o passado contínuo são ações que ocorreram por um tempo no passado, acrescido de verbo to be e ing na estrutura.

Dentro desse tempo verbal contínuo, temos que é necessário que o estudante saiba qual o sujeito da sentença, uma vez que é através do conhecimento do sujeito que conheceremos o verbo to be que será utilizado em seguida.
