Olá, meu bem, tudo bem?

Primeiro é necessário que você saiba que WAS e WERE são as formas do verbo TO BE que indicam o tempo passado.

WAS é usado com: I, He, She e It (pronomes)

Were é usado com: You, They e We. (pronomes)

Exemplo I WAS a student / You WERE a studente

Os termos Wasn't e Weren't são as formas negativas dos verbos, ou seja, corresponde respectivamente, was not e were not  

A) I was / We were

B) was (fala sobre um lugar, o zoológico)

A) It was/ the elephants were

B) were

A) weren't / They were/ were you

B) wasn't/ was
