A alternativa correta de acordo com o texto é alternativa D) sequence.

     É possível inferir que todos os tipos de texto devem possuir uma lógica na forma como foram escritos, dando uma sequência nas ações e nos atos que acontecem durante a história.

     É comum verificar em histórias num geral palavras como "firstly, secondly, to sum up" e entre outras, sendo essas um tipo de organização mais focada na parte numeral. Já nesse texto, as palavras utilizadas foram first, significando "primeiro", then, significando "então", e por fim "finally" significando "finalmente".

    Dessa forma, o texto ficou mais organizado e com um formato simples de compreender sua linha temporal dos fatos que ocorreram durante a história.
