"My mother made a cake last Saturday" seria a forma correta

Anônimo: Yes, this is the right response, but like much of the tuition in Brazil, this expression is not idiomatic and would not be used in native English society. No native speaker would say 'made a cake'. The correct and idiomatic expression is 'bake a cake'..................."My mother baked a cake last Saturday".
Dougshows: Thanks for the clarification, i didn't know that.
Dougshows: It's the first time i hear about "bake", i better remember that
