When I first arrived in Australia to learn English ,I was afraid of making mistakes ou not having friends.I was interested in the culture and habits of Australians but you know,I was alone and I had never been abroad before. My first classes at school were col and I think I succeeded in making myself understood, even with my poor English. Now,after two weeks,I guess I'm good at making conversation with all my classmates and I never, never tired of satarting a good chat with anybody I meet.Learning a foreign language depends a lot on our own effort
