* Alguns verbos não são geralmente usados no Present Continuous (stative verbs), mesmo que expressem algo que esteja acontecendo no momento em que se fala. São verbos que indicam:
- sensação, percepção (hear, see, taste etc.);
- estados da mente, sentimento, relacionamento (believe, forget, know, love, like, remember, think, understand etc.);
- posse (belong, have, own etc.).
Com os stative verbs usa-se, portanto, o Simple Present.
Entretanto, na linguagem coloquial, o verbo to like pode ser usado no continuous com o sentido de apreciar ou aproveitar.
