- Usamos " more" quando queremos numa comparação e quando o adjetivo tem mais de 3 sílabas ( que não é o caso do adjetivo "short" )
Ex: Those pants are more expensive than the others.
- Usamos "shorter" quando queremos comparar alguém com outra pessoa ou com alguma coisa. ( ou seja "the shorter" não podia ser, pois estou a dizer que sou o mais baixo da turma e não me estou a comparar com ninguém )
Ex: I'm shorter than Ana.
- Usamos "the most" quando queremos dizer que essa coisa ou essa pessoa é a mais "algum adjetivo" e quando o adjetivo tem mais de 3 sílabas
Ex: He is the most beautiful boy in class.
2. She is the best writter in her city.
- Alguns adjetivos têm uma forma irregular.
Ex: good - best

- Usamos a terminação "er" quando queremos comparar alguém ou alguma coisa.
