FIRE

earliest user was Peking man, around 500,000 BC. It was Only around 7,000 bC that the Neolithic man acquired
fire-making techniques. Even then it was more covenient to keep fire burning permanentely than to re-ignite it.
The importance of fire in the ancient world is emphasized by the sacred fires of many religious rituals
and myths, such as that of Prometheus. The myth tells that Prometheus stole the fire from the gods and gave it
