​EXAMPLE
I was in the kitchen preparing a sandwich when the telefone ran. It was about 9 p.m. last Friday. I picked up the telefone. And said hello, but the person on the other end of the line didn’t say a word, just screamed. I hung up the phone and went back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, the phone rang again. I answered and there was the scream. The same happened a third time. I got angry, but also worried. Maybe the person on the other end of the line was in some kind of trouble.
