Spending time at a summer camp is an option that often appeals to children and is a convenient alternative for parents who have to work during the school break. The camp experience is an opportunity to develop self-confidence, independence, self-discovery, ethics and social skills. At the camp, children get out of their intense day-to-day life and slow down their routine in contact with nature. More than an invitation to camp in a pleasant and safe way, the project instigates solutions for the current routines of children increasingly guided by closed and controlled spaces. Improvements in physical and mental health, in addition to the development of children's social, motor, cognitive and emotional skills, through contact with nature, have been the keynote of several studies in recent years.
