This happes in all nations, from the wealthiest to the poorest ( and happens with men as well as children). It can have positive aspects, such as providing guidance and sharing issues etc.,but it can also have a negative effect of continuing inherent prejudices, etc.

A) Do you agree that the media influence people's ways of seeing things? Can you give any exaples?

B) According to the text above, who is influenced by the way the media present women? Where does it happen?

As mulheres e os meios de comunicação [...] Os papéis de mulheres apresentadas na mídia, de talk-shows, entretenimento mostra bem como notícias, relatórios podem, muitas vezes acabam reforçando o status quo e adequar os estereótipos culturais, que influenciam outras mulheres a seguir. Este acontece em todas as Nações, desde os mais ricos aos mais pobres (e acontece com os homens, bem como as crianças). Ele pode ter aspectos positivos, como fornecer orientações e compartilhamento de questões etc., mas ele também pode ter um efeito negativo da contínua preconceitos inerentes, etc.
