MY VISIT TO MY GRANDMA'S HOUSE Last week, I visited my grandma. She is very old. My grandma can walk, but she cannot see very well and she needs a bit of help. I took her some flowers and a bar of chocolate. I did a few jobs for her, as usual. I tidied the living room, cleaned the kitchen and I vacuumed her bedroom. Then grandma gave me a shopping list and I popped to the supermarket and got her some groceries. When I returned, I put the tins in the cupboard and the fresh food in the fridge. Grandma made us a cup of tea and we had a piece of cake. Then we decided to watch TV. Grandma and I both love the same programme 'The Last Kingdom'. It is set in the ninth century, the time of King Alfred when Saxons and Danes lived together in England. I asked grandma to put the TV on and find the correct channel for the programme. She picked the remote control up and began pressing it. Nothing happened. Grandma pressed some more, then shook it. She was angry because it had a new battery so she did not know why it was not working. Finally, she passed it to me. Only, it was not the remote control - it was my mobile phone!
