Present perfect continuous

Mr. Stuart has been watching TV for two hours.

Has Mr. Stuart been watching TV for two hours?

Mr. Stuart hasn't been watching TV for two hours.

Present  perfect Continuous  ⇔ verbo descreve uma ação  que começou no passado e ainda está acontecendo.

have    -   usado com I - we - you - they

has      -    usado com he - she - it

Estrutura

have / has + been + verbo terminando em -ing

I have been  waiting for Helen for fifteen minutes.

Na negativa, acrescentamos ''not'' após have / has = haven't / hasn't

→  They haven't been studying for the tests lately.

→  He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Na interrogativa, colocamos have / has no início da frase e repetimos o restante, acrescentando ponto de interrogação do final (?)

→  Have we been talking about the same thing?

→  Has John been sleeping since 6pm?
