So Hades sen Pain and Panic to kidnap Hercules and bring him to Earth. There they were supposed to give him a special potion to drink that would make him mortal.
Fortunately, a couple interrupted Pain and Panic's evil deed before Hercules could drink the entire potion.But he had indeed been made mortal. Pain and Panic, disguised as snakes, slithered toward the baby, ready to complete their task.
Hercules used is extraordinary strenght to toss thhe serpents aside like playtings.
"Oh, fab!" whined Panic. "Hades is gonna kill us when he finds out!"
"Not if he doesn't find out," Pain suggested.
Now that Hercules was mortal, he could not return to Olympus. Zeus and Hera could only watch sadly from above as their baby wasa adopted by the childless couple, Amphitryon and Alcmene.
Under his adopted parent's loving care, Hercules grew into a devoted son. He tried to use is great strength to help out - like the time he replaced their donkey, Penelope, when she became lame on the way to the marketplace. Unfortunately, he usually wasn't able to control his strength. People avoided Hercules because, wherever he went, disaster often followed.
For example, one day in the marketplace, Hercules wanted to join some of the boys in a game of discus.
"Sorry, Herc. We've already got five, and we want to keep it an even number," they said, clumsily turning him down.
Nevertheless, the eager Hercules ran after their discus, knocking into the pillars of the marketplace and leaving it in ruins. The townspeople has enough, and warned his father to keep him away.
"I'll never fit in around here!" Hercules lamented.

Então, Hades mandou Dor e Pânico pra raptar Hércules e trazê-lo pra Terra. Lá, era suposto eles darem à Hércules uma poção especial pra beber q faria com q ele se tornasse mortal.
Felizmente, um casal interrompeu a má ação de Dor e Pânico antes q Hércules pudesse beber toda poção
Mas de fato, ele foi transformado em mortal. Dor e Pânico disfarçaram-se de cobras, deslizaram em direção ao bebé, prontos pra completar a tarefa.
Hércules usou sua força extraordinária pra lançar as serpentes pra longe como se fossem brinquedos.
"Oh, fabuloso! " choramingou Pânico "Hades irá matar - nos quando descobrir!"
"Não vai, se ele não descobrir" sugeriu Dor.
Agora q Hércules era mortal, ele não podia voltar pra Olympus. Zeus e Hera só podiam olhar tristemente enquanto seu bebé era adotado pelo casal sem filhos, Amphitryon e Alcmene.
Debaixo do cuidado amoroso de seus pais adotivos, Hércules cresceu, tornando - se num filho devotado. Ele tentou usar a sua tremenda força pra ajudar- como da vez em q ele substituiu a burra deles, Penelope, quando esta ficou lenta a caminho do mercado. Infelizmente, ele geralmente, não conseguia controlar a sua força.
As pessoas evitavam Hércules pq, em qualquer lugar q ele ia, o desastre geralmente o seguia.
Por exemplo, um dia no mercado, Hércules queria se juntar à alguns rapazes em um jogo de discos.
"Desculpa, Herc. Nós já somos 5 e queríamos ficar em um número par." eles disseram, atrapalhadamente, dispensando-o. Mesmo assim, ansioso, Hércules correu atrás do disco derrubando os pilares do mercado, deixando-o em ruínas. As pessoas já estavam fartas e avisaram o pai pra deixá-lo longe.
"Eu nunca vou me integrar aqui!" lamentou Hércules.
