O trabalho voluntário tem o objetivo de ajudar pessoas a realizarem certos tipos de trabalho, sem intenção de receber algo em troca, mas apenas em ter a satisfação de ajudar alguém a realizar uma tarefa, desde a mais simples até a mais complexa.

"Volunteer work is intended to help people perform certain types of work, with no intention of receiving something in return, but just to have the satisfaction of helping someone accomplish a task, from the simplest to the most complex."
