Ann: Hi, Bill. I'm so glad you came to my dance party. You came alone. Why didn't you bring your new girlfriend along?
Bill: She thinks I am home, in bed, shivering with fever.
Ann: My gooness. Aren't you ashamed of lying to her?
Bill: Just kidding, Ann. She couldn't come, in fact. She's studying hard for a Math test she's taking tomorrow. And besides, she loves dancing and I can't dance at all. Idon't want to disappoint her. I'll start taking dancing classes next week. I want to impress her.
Ann: What a pity! I'd like to welcome her to my place. Come in, please. Tell me: what's she like?
Bill: She's perfect, outgoing, cheerful, energetic and very open-minded. I think she's just perfect!
Ann: How did you meet?
Bill: Actually, we've known each other since junior high school. We've always been good friends. Now, our friendship's just grown into love.
Ann: I'm looking forward to meeting her. You know, I just love making new friends. Come on! Let me introduce you around.
