Past continuous está sempre acontecendo no momento.
Sempre usa o verbo to be no passado (was e were) mais o ING no final do verbo
I - was
You - were
He - was
She - was
It - was
We - were
You - were
They - were
Nas frases interrogativas apenas troca o sujeito principal com o gerúndio do verbo
Nas frases negativas apenas coloca o Not depois do verbo to be
Nas frases afirmativas Sujeito + verbo to be, seguido do gerúndio do verbo principal
Espero que tenha entendido.
