Advertising's a way to potential consumers to know a certain product or service. Thus you can to take any information about these things that you probably wouldn't know since the informations are scattered in the market. That, however, it isn't the sufficient. The advertising must to be attractive, to cause reactions and emotions in the people for that they can to consume them by their subjective economic calculation.

It's a mistake to think advertising as a bad thing¹. The advertising's a essence of the market. Market that are formed by us, individuals. All of us are consumers and therefore we take the decision that we judge to be the correct. 

It's obvious that there will be bad and good ad's and this only can be decided by us, consumers. The companies must to make ad's according with the market, with consumers' wishes so them need to try in predict which ad will satisfy any market demand. Isn't possible to predict any consumer wish because our wishes and needs may to change constantly since we're humans and humans change decisions constantly.

¹ Political advertising can be judged as a bad thing because political people are, in essence, robbers and parasites that would want to dictate in our life.
