$- 4 = 2x {}^{2} + 2x - 4 \\ 0 = 2x {}^{2} + 2x \\ 0 = 2x(x + 1)$

Dai ficamos com duas opções:

$i)2x = 0 \\ x = 0 \\ \\ ii)x + 1 = 0 \\ x = - 1$

b)

$0 = 2x { }^{2} + 2x - 4$

fatorando, ficamos com :

$0 = (2x + 4) \times (x - 1)$

Dai ficamos com duas opções:

$i)2x + 4= 0 \\ x = - 2$

$ii)x - 1 = 0 \\ x = 1$
