countable nouns: substantivos contáveis
uncountable nouns: substantivos incontáveis

a) countable nouns: an apple, a bird, 1 picture, 2 pictures...

pode ter verbos no singular e plural:

“there is a book on the table”
“those houses are very big”

vão com: a/an/the/my...

“she bought an umbrella”

podem ser usados sozinhos com: some/any/many/few no plural

“i love (some) carrots”

b) uncountable nouns: sugar, water, information, salt...

sempre com verbos no singular:

“there is some water in that pitcher”

não vão com: a/an/two...

“can you hear music?”

podem ser usados sozinhos OU com: some/any/much/little

“there is little information about the weather”

só vão com a/an/two se for sobre copo ou garrafa de café/chá

“can i have two teas, please?” (two cups of tea)

jessiquinhacosta735: não entendi.
