De acordo com o uso correto dos modal verbs, em inglês, podemos preencher as lacunas da seguinte maneira:

1) MUST

10) MAY

Os verbos modais, ou modal verbs, em inglês, são utilizados junto de outro verbo, para atribuir sentido indicando a modalidade. Eles podem indicar capacidade, habilidade, possibilidade, permissão, probabilidade, entre muitos outros.

Os verbos modais são utilizados sem o TO, e nunca são flexionados. Quando usados em frases negativas, o NOT vem depois do verbo. Alguns dos verbos modais possuem sentido muito parecido, mas distinguem no uso conforme graus de formalidade exigidos/apresentados no contexto.

Em frases interrogativas o verbo modal antecede o sujeito.
