Traduzindo oque que é pedido nós descobrimos:

Traduzindo esta primeira frase nós temos:

Assim entendemos que:
"Take" é o verbo que precisamos passar para o passado
e "Took" é o verbo "Take" no passado, sendo assim "Took" é a resposta para a Questão 1.

Passado Simples
O passado simples nada mais é do que um tempo verbal dentro da língua inglesa que fala sobre uma ação que começou no passado e finalizou nesse mesmo passado, não precisando necessariamente ter relação com o presente da fala proferida.
Dentro desse tempo verbal, temos verbos irregulares e regulares, os regulares são normalmente acrescidos de "ED" ao final do verbo, já os irregulares não seguem um padrão, sendo assim, é necessário conhecer cada um desses verbos previamente para preencher as sentenças corretamente.
