para I, he, she e it was
para you, we, they were
para as perguntas o verbo fica de acordo com a pessoa do discurso

ex: was she go to the supermarket?
      yes, she was
      no, she wasn´t
      were they go to the cinema?
      yes, they were
      no, they weren´t
