Hi!

1- Dance is one of the three main performing arts of antiquity, alongside theater and music. In ancient Egypt, the so-called astro-theological dances in honor of Osiris were already taking place. In Greece, dance was often linked to games, especially to the Olympians.

2-Dance is characterized by the use of the body following previously established movements (choreography) or improvised (free dance). In most cases, the dance, with paced steps to the sound and music beat, involves the expression of feelings enhanced by it.

3- No, each country has its own dance because of its culture, not all cultures are the same.

4-Dance is an element of Corporal Culture and is present in our daily lives, we know that this constitution is historical and goes back to prehistory. All peoples have ways of expressing themselves, and dance is the result of that expression.

5- Dance is considered essential for the evolution of civilization. Since the first men still had no oral language, the movement of the body played a major role in communication. The tribes could thus recognize and relate to each other through this body language.

Dance
