The use of cell phones is currently considered the greatest entertainment of Brazilians, has
occupied almost half of the free time of the population and experts confirm that people are
addicted. Users do not use their cell phones or the internet just to look at one message or
another, but rather, they are glazed all day, whether on the street, in the square, with friends
and even at work. People need to learn to have more contact with the real world.
Children are spending hours of their free time in front of the computer or on their cell
phones in games that could be used for reading good books or chatting with friends. Adults
arriving from work are already going to check out the latest updates on the relationship apps
and even seniors are joining the new technology. The culture of the population is changing and
that worries us.
I believe that social networks were created so that we had more contact with people, but
it is totally the opposite. What came to approach, ended up moving away. Social media is
making people antisocial with each other. The prevailing communication is virtual and the
practice of good human attitudes, such as "good morning", "please", are rare.
We have to encourage children, teenagers and even adults to disconnect from the virtual
world in order to connect with the real world. Leaving your phone off when you are with
family, enjoying a walk without so many selfies and giving preference
to eye-to-eye chat are situations that will strengthen the relationship and love.
