In my humble opinion, both.

It is indeed the age of information, the globe is connected and we are aware of what happens in every corner of the world. The knowledge for the first time in history is free and available for most people thank to the Internet.

But it is the age of distraction as well, beacause too many information can cause frustration and fear for things and situations that don't directly affect us. The technology is everywhere and it is pretty easy to get distracted with social media or other tools.
