M boo CONOSE HAL ADD SUBJECh Dear Rory, How are you doing? Ive not heard from you for agest How are things in good old Hartford? I can't believE it's been one year since I 1. have left/left the US! I'm still getting to know the place. After all, 1 2. had never been abroad/have never been abroad before so I'm still adjusting to tche new culture. But I have to say, I don't regret moving at all. It took some time until I 3. had found/found a job which I liked but I'm really happy now. When I first 4. got/had got here, it was a little hard to do things because I 5. didn't know/ hadn't known my way round the place. But once I got used to the public transportation system here, it 6. became/had become much easier I'm working as an assistant chef at this really cool restaurant now. I learn lots of new things every day - it's very exciting I 7. had worked/worked in a pizza parlor before for a few months, but it didn't work out well. Anyway, I'm not sure how much longer l'll stay here for. Before coming here. I 8. had imagined/ imagined it would be a short living abroad' experience But now that I'm enjoying my freedom.who knows? I'm in no rush to get back How about you?
