With a mix of sentimentality and fantasy, Alice through the Mirror (2015), which opens today in theaters, turns out to be wonderful. The film is a continuation of the previous story, Alice in Wonderland (2010), and new emotions and situations for both the audience and the heroine. This time, the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) fantasy, Alice Through Espelho (2015), which opens today in theaters, turns out to be wonderful. The film is a continuation of the previous story, Alice in Wonderland (2010), and new emotions and situations for both the audience and the heroine. This time, the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) found a small, crumpled hat on the floor and that object changed his mood completely. Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is called from the “real world” to help her Wonderland friends make the Hatter back to himself. For this, Alice will have to face a cruel character, the much-hated Time (Sacha Baron Cohen). Yes, he is literally the personification of time. Alice will talk to him to try to change the past and help the Hatter to be okay, otherwise he might die. The Cheshire Cat, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the White Rabbit and the Caterpillar give the girl advice, and, among the allies, the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) is a single human. One more point where the animation of the film, as with the previous one, does not disappoint. It's a world of imagination that never ends. Also, let's not forget Alice's arch-enemy, a Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), who has her personality explored during a plot. Disney really excelled in this production, which is even better when viewed in 3D. The film is a delightful sequel to be seen in the cinema, no matter what age you are. It focuses on two themes: madness and rhythm.

My look is a mix of Virgo Shaka and Johnny Bravo, but gothic” Among so many other relevant aspects of the film, the one that stands out the most is the focus on the woman as the main character, a necessary empowerment. Alice, going completely against the rules of society at the time in which she lives, helps young people and adults to understand that women have as much right to do what they want as men do. This is something that shouldn't even have to be explained, but it becomes necessary, unfortunately, even today. Such an approach is visible in some sexist and abusive phrases that are promptly rejected by the heroine, causing even Disney to rethink the concept of "princesses"... I recommend going to see Alice Through the Mirror with an open mind to absorb all the insanity that the movie can provide.
